Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is an Mexican American singer-songwriter and popular actress. Raised by her mother in the USA she had to face numerous racial insults which gave her feeling of being unwanted. After she participated in an event at school and was given the highest praise for her singing at the age of 9 she began to gain confidence. It not only boosted her self-confidence but also changed her career ambition. In 1992, she received her master's degree from the city's Julliard School. She was 23 when she had her first Broadway performance with Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her debut in the film You've got Mail were both major breakthroughs. The greatest achievement of her career was with her portrayal of The Lady of The Lake as Spamalot's original Broadway production. Not only did she win the Tony Award, but her performance was also praised by reviewers. The following year, in 2007, she was cast in the ABC series Grey's Anatomy and became more popular. The actress is also a renowned performer and has produced an extended show. She is an activist who works tirelessly for LGBT equality.
