Sharni Vinson, an Australian-American actress, dancer, born on the 22nd of July, 1983 in Sydney Australia. Her debut as an actor occurred in 2001 when she was selected to feature in the Australian Soap show Home and Away where she had a minor role in two episodes of the series. She was chosen to be the lead role in the soap opera in Australia Home and Away as her performance in this small part was so captivating that casting agents sought her to play different roles. Though she was able to audition for the role, she wasn't chosen. Instead, she was cast in the series as Cassie Turner. The character is young disturbed girl within foster homes. The critics as well as the fans who watched the show have praised her performance.
