Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th, 1962) is an American actress. Sheedy made her debut as an actor in Bad Boys in 1983. In the years since, she's appeared in WarGames in 1985, The Breakfast Club in 1986, and Short Circuit in 1986. Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award Best Female leading for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for more than twenty years. She began her film career by appearing in the crime-drama movie Bad Boys in the early 1980s. She was praised. The film of Rick Rosenthal also featured Sean Penn and Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. She appeared in The Breakfast Club in 1985 which was a comedic drama which followed her first success. John Hughes' film is considered to be one of the best high school movies of all time. While the budget for the film was only $1 million, the film's profits were more than $50 million. The actress also appeared on various television programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. The show targeted teenagers and first aired in April 1980. She also appeared on other television shows like Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Some of her latest appearances include Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse an action film featuring the superhero X-Men in which she plays in a role as a guest. Sheedy's amazing performances have won numerous accolades, such as her MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
