Apryl was also featured on Search For The Next Doll and tried her hand to join the newly formed Pussycat Dolls. Not being able to impress on the judges Apryl wasn't picked. She later met with an established singer who invited her to join a tour as a backup singer. They both decided to become part of the Vh1 show that is a hit Hollywood, becoming one the cast's eight original participants. The first season chronicles the pregnancy and birth of their daughter Megaa Omari Grandberry. Season two explores her career frustrations and insecurities as she enjoys newfound success. Omarion, who was traveling during the recording of the episode of reunion from Season 2 was not with Apryl. Apryl made the announcement on December 7 on the 7th of December, 2015 that they had left the show, and would not be returning in the next season. Apryl had their daughter A'mei Kasuko Grandberry on March 7, 2016. Apryl broke up with Omarion within four months. Apryl was a guest on season 4and met with Lil' Fizz to discuss the possibility of a B2K reunion. Apryl is back on the show for season six which chronicles her custody fight with Omarion in addition to the speculation in the press and criticism surrounding her relationship with Lil' Fizz. Both admit that they're romantically connected which has pushed Moniece as well and the entire actors into conflict.
